Dates for our next Camp session will be August 3 – 16, 2019.

The Massachusetts Junior Conservation Camp provides a unique experience of conservation, shooting sports, and outdoor recreation education. The camp’s program introduces young people to the ethical responsibilities of hunting and fishing in order to foster careful stewardship of our natural resources.

A Commitment to Conservation, an Appreciation for Recreation…

The camp was founded in 1949 as a cooperative project between the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Game and a citizens group.  Since 1983, it has been administered by the Massachusetts Sportsmen’s Junior Conservation Camp, Inc., a non-profit tax-exempt corporation solely responsible for the conduct and operation of the camp.

While hiking Mt Wachusett this weekend one of our staff crossed paths with a young hiker wearing a MSJCC sweatshirt. Fiona F and her mom were also out enjoying a fall day in New England.
It's great to see our camp alumni proudly displaying our gear! Shirts and sweatshirts can now be ordered online. Visit juniorconservationcamp.org/wordpress1/donate/
